Okay, I Just HAD To Talk About This...

[Fire Emblem] Erk - OSHXT
Today, I finally got a chance to listen to America's character songs... And I just wanted to say that I TOTALLY PREDICTED IT. AND IT WAS TRUE. I KNEW IT! KNEW ITTTTTT!!!

RAPPING.

OH, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD AND TRUEEEEE.

Actually, I don't despise rapping as much as I used to back then -- at least not when Japanese rap is concerned. And it wasn't really that bad. But the fact that he was rapping about hamburgers made me want to headdesk. Hearing them say "Washington DC" (nevermind, hearing them try to speak English) is a bit... ....ahem.

Hey, you want a guy who can speak English? Get Junichi Suwabe XD. As far as I'm concerned, his English is pretty spiffy. BESIDES, WHO WOULD THINK OF REJECTING HIM? HE VOICE ACTS IN KUROSHITSUJI (Undertaker), 07 GHOST (Frau), SWITCH (Director Hiki :D), AND EVEN GUILTY GEAR (Venom)! THIS GUY'S OFFICIALLY EPIC!!

Anyway...

Speaking of Alfred, the Tagalog version of Yu Yu Hakusho has a guy named Alfred. Guess which one of the cast got renamed that? KUWABARA. Just throwing it out there, because I thought it was hilarious.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

It's been a week since Project Overflow already LOL. I don't have the pics and vids yet, but I'll put them on another post. Anyway, besides Overflow, yesterday I had a Thanksgiving thing for church too. Both were magical, and I guess I'll talk about each of them here.

PROJECT OVERFLOW! :DDD )

Thanksgiving, VCNJ-Style :) )

I am now anticipating my four-and-a-half day weekend next week! XDDD Until something else eventful happens, I'm out!

Sorry to have imploded your minds with randomness, guys. You can all sue him.

By the way, Derick, that icon is directed towards you :)

Halloween Dress-Up Tiem

[Death Note] Matt - Let's Play
Well, since Halloween is on a weekend and the school usually let's us kids dress up, I cranked out Romano from the closet. It sucked that not a lot of people dressed up this year; in fact, the first thing I said as I walked into my E period class was "You guys suck; you didn't dress up."

But! There were some pretty out-there costumes. )

So yeah, tomorrow I'm gonna be going to a formal party... So not only do you get to see Romano, you get to see the real me in a dress that I haven't worn since 8th grade, YET IT STILL FITS ME. In fact, it actually got looser.

I really think I need to gain more weight...

Random note: I'm starting to remember why I loved the Guilty Gear songs of back then.

PROJECT OVERFLOW BENEFIT CONCERT!

[SanHora] Moira - Family
HOKAY, GAIZ!! The Vine's Church of Northern and Central New Jersey are doing something BIG. Since we're mostly comprised of Filipinos, we were all shocked at the devastation that Ondoy brought. SO! We're doing something to help the relief victims. But we're not just sending boxes of food and clothes and stuff, we're actually hosting a BENEFIT CONCERT with ALL PROCEEDS GOING DIRECTLY TO THOSE AFFECTED BY TYPHOON ONDOY. IF YOU'RE IN THE NYC/NJ AREA, THEN CONSIDER IT!

HERE IS THE DESCRIPTION ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!:

On September 26, 2009, Typhoon Ondoy brought torrential rainfall to Metro Manila in only a few hours. The rains caused severe flooding resulting in a climbing death toll forcing hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate their communities. Our local community of Filipinos can help.

For the next few weeks, several of my colleagues have joined resources to launch a Benefit concert. Our main performer is Jay Legaspi featuring amazing talents (secret for now, but you will be pleased.)

Save the date. Do your part.

Doors open at 7:00pm. It will be taking place at:

Elks BPO No 2001
200 N State Rt 17
Paramus, NJ 07652-2902
(201) 262-5533

Tickets are $20.00. All proceeds go directly to those affected by Typhoon Ondoy.

My youth group leader (one of the admins on the FB group) asked if I could write something for the concert, and I said "YES." (And for my Hetalia cosplay friends; JES, ROMANO HAS WRITING TALENT.) So you might get to see me ;)

IF YOU HAVE A FACEBOOK, PLEASE JOIN THE GROUP. UPDATES WILL BE POSTED WEEKLY THERE.

FOLLOW US ON TWITTER!

And lastly, for more information and clarifications, please contact me or my youth leader: Enrique Carlos - enrique.ec@gmail.com.

[Gazette] Reita-Cam!
I'm just using this as an excuse to procrastinate my pre-calc, huh? YOU BET I AM!

SO MANY PICTURES!!! )

As for what happened on Sunday with Christine's party... I'll save for another time XDDDD

By the way! My writing journal, The Willow Wisp, is slowly getting updated with more oneshots. (I really need a publisher XD) If anyone's interested, please check it out!

Now, back to pre-calc :)

[Death Note] Matt - Let's Play
For the last day of summer before school started, Anjie and I spent it playing video games and filming us playing video games. Just video games. In fact, just one video game -- BlazBlue.

That was IT. )

Now I'm in junior year, with all honor courses and an advanced placement (AP) class. Right now, I'm going to have a very bad feeling that my schedule's going to be really tight, but I'm working on a way to get used to it. I don't really like my pre-calculus teacher too much, and my chemistry teacher scares the living shxt out of me, but whatever. Whateverrrr. In fact, first day of school I spent up until 1 in the morning doing homework. Joy, ain't it? Say it with me guys: Whateverrrrr. Pfah.

Hm, that might mean I won't get to work on Kapitulieren for a little while. Oh well. Speaking of which, my writing journal, The Willow Wisp, has been slowly getting updated. All previous story-posts from Facebook have been successfully transferred onto the account, and I've been updating with shorts whenever I can. So yeah. If you're interested (highly unlikely) check it out.

*looks above* ....

.............

.....................

You know what, FXCK THE DEPRESSION AND SEEMING-APATHY. I'MMA MAKE THIS WORK!

In the words of Lincoln Brewster, "Today is the day You have made // I will rejoice and be glad in it // And I won't worry about tomorrow // I'm giving you my fears and sorrows // Where You lead me I will follow // I'm trusting in what You say // Today is the day."

I'm starting to get that song to be my personal motivation song (aside from Sound Horizon, of course, but still.) And it's WORKING. Because you know what? I believe and love God, and I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT TO THE WORLD. And if you're going to bash my faith, you're not gonna deter me because I'll stand by what I believe in all the way.

SO LJ, REJOICEEEEEE. BE GLADDDDD. 'CUS EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT, I'MMA GONNA INFECT YOU WITH JOYFUL GOODNESSSSSSS.

:)
[Death Note] Matt - Let's Play
Of icecars and magic goldfish )

Now I'm just finishing summer work... Probably gonna write up more on my "Project K"... Do other stuff... then bed XD. That's all for now!
